Simple... You see while we have 'developed', the bulk of rural dwellers or villagers have remained poor in money terms simply due to the lack of a market access and the dis-economies of scale they individually face.

Sure they live a life of 'subsistence affluence' but since the barter economy is not the acceptable mode in most places today, their need for - cash - does prick their conscience into questioning many matters. Fertile grounds for; yes... coup mongering by shrewd individuals.

Fiji's five coups in twenty years reminds leaders the world over that people vote them into power to serve; NOT serve themselves or some hidden agenda, but to serve the people.

But such a noble calling just had to have a stain, eh?

After forty years of independence and good advice the retail sector still outweighs manufacturing and real wealth creation with its heavy dependence on imported factor inputs.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The problems of South Pacific Island Countries including Fiji are low and poor investments with similarly low outputs. Incremental capital-output ratios (ICORs) for the region averages 7% and as the World Bank notes is "8-times less efficient than the average for all low income countries".

This site endeavors through our resource-based sectors to augment tourism and other export-led initiatives by contributing to foreign exchange earnings and improving this yardstick.

These include agricultural and marine products, our resorts plucked right out of Eden, and our pharmacology of naturally occurring medicines that cure AIDS/HIV, Cancer, and other modern day scourges.

HOW WE ACHIEVE THIS

Raising export earnings - With so much to offer, you now understand why we need people to serve the masses. This site augments the necessary work to aggregate rural supplies and to use this economy as the driver in improving rural economics.

HOW WE DO THIS:

Our processing centers are spread throughout the exporting ports of Fiji to afford lower transhipment times and better cover the various provinces. We thus export from Rotuma, Labasa, Ovalau, Suva and Lautoka.

Currently we are able to supply Fiji taro to Micronesia, Japan, NZ, Australia and the US west coast including Canada and Fiji kava to most countries of the world that have heeded the findings of the IKEC - the International Kava Executive Council - and lifted kava bans.

Other primary products - seaweed, sandalwood timber, tuna fish, cassava, etc. will be added soon as marketing systems are developed for them.
